The Communications Security Establishment Canada (CSEC), offers a dynamic, stimulating workplace where specialists from diverse backgrounds share expertise and commitment. CSEC's role is to provide both the means to ensure the security of federal government communications and a service of signals intelligence in support of Canada's foreign and defence policies. We are currently recruiting candidates for inclusion in our Administration/Clerical inventory in anticipation of future vacancies:

SENIOR GENERAL ADMINISTRATION CLERK
Extensive and recent experience in an office environment providing general administrative support (including experience in areas such as procurement, material management, contracts, telecommunications, financial and/or personnel administration, grants and contributions, personnel security screening process). You must have experience in the operation of a personal computer using software such as WordPerfect, MS Word, Ami-Pro or Word-Pro in a Windows environment. The ability to use spreadsheet software such as Excel, Lotus 123, Quattro-Pro and/or graphics software such as PowerPoint, Harvard Graphics, Corel Draw, Lotus Freelance would be an asset.

SENIOR FINANCE CLERK
Extensive and recent experience in an office environment performing duties such as bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, claims, auditing, monthly reports and/or budget control. You must have experience using a computerized financial management system such as SAP, FMAS, IFMS, ClaimsX, Freebalance or other relevant federal government financial systems. Federal government experience would be an asset.

RECORDS AND MAIL CLERK
Recent experience in a records office performing duties including the sorting, filing, classifying, coding and cross-referencing documents and sorting and delivering mail. Experience with RIMS, FOREMOST or other relevant automated records management systems would be an asset.

SENIOR RECORDS CLASSIFIER
Extensive and recent experience in an office environment performing duties related to classifying information and in reviewing filing systems. Experience with RIMS, FOREMOST or other relevant automated records management systems would be an asset.

RECEPTIONIST / INFORMATION CLERK
Recent experience as a receptionist in an office environment performing duties including answering the telephone, greeting and providing information to the public. You must have experience in the operation of a personal computer using software such as WordPerfect, MS Word, Ami-Pro or Word-Pro in a Windows environment.

All positions are located in Ottawa.

Other requirements: You must be a Canadian citizen, and be eligible for a security clearance involving a background investigation.
