SCOPE OF POSITION

 

The Community Micro Loan Coordinator will have an understanding of Community Economic Development and its community, along with the ability to review credit application using a holistic approach to credit granting.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ ACTIVITIES

 

·         Meet with applicants to accept and review loan applications

·         Make loan recommendations

·         Actively participate on the Ottawa Community Loan Fund review committee

·         Prepare loan agreements

·         Manage, monitor and collect on delinquent loans

·         Work closely with our partners of the Ottawa Community Loan Program

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         Bilingual Mandatory

·         Post secondary education in a related field and/or 3 to 5 years in experience in a similar role.

·         Strong financial services background

·         Knowledge of commercial lending an asset

·         Strong administrative skills

·         Experience dealing with collection items an asset

·         A proven ability to manage change

·         Ability to plan and conduct multiple concurrent duties
