Scope of Position
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing marketing and promotional activities that contribute to the overall growth of the organization. Ensuring the Alterna brand/professional image is projected in all marketing and communications, supporting internal departments and liaising with partners/alliances are responsibilities of this role.
Major Responsibilities
· Ensures Alterna brand is projected in all marketing communications related activities;
- Plans, coordinates and implements annual (partners/alliances) marketing campaigns;
- Supports various departmental activities including: website and Intranet;
- Liaises with various internal departments and external partners to ensure campaigns are in-line with sales targets;
- Monitors key milestones of the campaign development schedule, such as design, packaging and printed materials; and communicating/resolving pending issues accordingly;
- Assists and supports branches and internal departments with marketing and communications related requests;
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications
Educations / Certifications / Experience
- University degree in marketing or related field
- Minimum of two years experience in marketing and promotions
Knowledge / Skills
- Knowledge of various Windows based computer applications such as e-mail and Internet navigation
- Knowledge of brand management
- Knowledge of campaign planning and execution
- Competencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills that enable effective interaction with coworkers and partners/suppliers;
- Flexibility to embrace change in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
