POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for daily Research Operations support. This role will function as a member of an Ops Support team which provides help desk to code debugging to .NET and SQL code development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project implementations support
  • Recurring Respondent file & call center exports/imports
  • Sampling
  • Teleform scan support
  • Planet press & other Production print tasks
  • Production printing (Active Reports)
  • PM Support/Troubleshooting
  • Daily Integrity checks
  • Web survey setup, development & QA
  • ION reporting, Inserts & custom questions
  • Work with Data Integration Team with custom data extract queries
  • VOTP/Transcription support
  • Data moves
  • CMS reporting

Insights Support - Level 1

This role will function as a member of an Agile development team which will require daily discussions & reporting of activities. Guidance for role will come from the Sr. Developer Team Lead(s), Project Manager, and various Business Owners/Users. Role may also require direct interaction with HealthStream client contacts.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

A. KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Windows XP/7; various web browsers; printer setups
  • 3+ years database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS. Some Oracle experience also preferred
  • 2+ years experience with the following: Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or greater, ASP.Net, C# & VB.NET
  • 1+ year agile development (e.g., Scrum) experience preferred
  • 4 year Computer Science or other technical degree

B. SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Ability to troubleshoot processes or code in order to reach a timely resolution
  • Thinks logically and critically
  • Ability to research & propose solutions to business problems
  • Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
