The Director of Financial Reporting responsibilities will include, but not limited to: preparation of all SEC filings on Form 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, proxy statement, Section 16 filings, XBRL compliance, and any other filings as deemed necessary. This position will be involved in reviewing, assessing, and documenting new accounting standards; writing technical accounting memo’s; assisting in implementation of new accounting standards, including the new revenue recognition rules; assisting in maintenance of chart of accounts relative to financial reporting hierarchy, internal reporting, and segment reporting; debt covenant compliance reporting; assisting in the accounting and maintenance of the Company’s stock plans; assisting in the preparation of income tax provisions; maintaining strong system of internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. This position will also assist with acquisition due diligence and any accounting and financial reporting matters associated with future acquisitions or divestitures, including purchase price allocations. The position will responsible for financial analysis of monthly results as well as involvement in quarterly reviews and annual audits.




Essential Duties:

Prepare SEC filings.
Stock Plan administration and accounting.
Internal financial reporting and analysis. 
Technical accounting research and implementation.
Income tax provisions and other tax matters.
Assist auditors on an as needed basis by preparing audit schedules and providing supporting documentation as requested.
Revenue recognition implementation 
Other projects as necessary 

Bachelor Degree, CPA
2-5 years of relevant experience with above job functions
Knowledge and application of GAAP standards (revenue recognition, income taxes, segments, business combinations, stock compensation, leases)
Experience preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC standards (XBRL compliance). Proxy statements and Section 16 compliance for officers and directors
Income tax provision accounting
Advanced Excel skills and other data analytic skills will be crucial to this job
Experience with accounting software, general ledger maintenance, and financial reports
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Problem solving and financial analysis
Time management and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and complete work on time.
