POSITION SUMMARY

Echo, a HealthStream company located in Brentwood, TN, is a leading provider of software that simplifies credentialing for the healthcare industry. Echo serves 800+ clients with thousands of software users that represent 250,000+ healthcare providers (physicians, allied health professionals, and physician extenders) in various healthcare, dental, chiropractic, and revenue cycle management (RCM) organizations across North America.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical support for Echo clients via telephone and email. Responsible for software testing, online installation of Echo software applications and service pack distribution. Develop and maintain software documentation.  Assist with client retention efforts and internal support for Echo employees.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


A. KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS or related field (experience will be considered in absence of related degree)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop relationships (internally and externally)
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • High level of integrity and professionalism

B. SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • SQL Server skills preferred (SQL 2000 or later)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility; ability to adapt to change without losing efficiency or composure
  • Effective task management skills; ability to prioritize projects
  • Ability to travel to client sites for installation, training or consulting (if required)

C. ABILITIES REQUIRED:
