What You'll Do:
- Will work in a team environment assisting electrical design engineers in the development and test of electronic assemblies.
- Read and understand schematics for electronics circuits and cable harness drawings.
- Electronic assembly skills to be used in prototyping, PWA modifications and rework, and test equipment (GSE,EGSE,STE) assembly and fabrication.
What You'll Need (required):
· 2 year electronics tech degree or higher
· Lab electronics experience
· Schematic capture
· Well versed using lab equipment: oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, etc
Desired Skills:
· CCD/CMOS camera experience
· Software tools: Altium Designer, ORCAD, Allegro, PDM, C++
· Low light camera experience: VNIR, IR
· Field experience: installation, debug, and test
· Firmware development and test
· Security clearance: DOD secret
· PWB layout
· Machine tool experience: drill press, mill, lathe
· GUI test interfaces: Labview
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 8 years or more related experience or 2 years of technical school and 4 years or more related experience.
- In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
