What You´ll Do

This position will support system engineering, integration and testing of large phased array antenna systems.  You need a desire to design, build and test in a hands-on environment.  

  • This person must also be able to document designs, write potentially write reports and/or test procedures. 
  • As a team member, this person will contribute to completion of milestones within specific projects and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.
  • In addition, this position requires preparing and giving presentations to peers/management/customers. 
  • This position may include new business support in the form of proposal writing and/or cost/schedule estimation.

What You´ll Need

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred, plus 5 or more years experience. 
  • Knowledge of the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) architecture is required.
  • Satellite ground system architecture experience.
  • Knowledgeable in commercial and military ground systems.
  • Requires strong technical leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Comfortably interface with technicians, peers, senior-level engineers, business development, management.
  • Contribute to success of small teams through excellent teamwork.
  • In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered.  Each higher level degree, Masters, etc., may substitute for two years of experience.
  • Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. 
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
