What You'll Do

  • Serve as a member of the Security Team performing a variety of security duties which may include:

1)     Assistant Facility Security (FSO) Duties

2)     Personnel Security duties

3)     Physical security

4)     Administrative Security Duties

 

  • Physically write security plans, with NISPOM, DCID/ICDs and JAFAN as policy guidance.
  • Perform physical security in a SCIF and/or SAPF setting.
  • Support other Ball offices with similar security responsibilities/requirements on an as needed basis.
  • Accomplish internal audits, and report findings.
  • Coordinate work with government security organizations
  • Pro-actively plan/identify future security requirements, price out material, order, inventory, install and maintain as needed.
  • Develop plan, implement, and operate secure facility(ies).
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult security problems in a secure environment. 
  • Provide solutions that are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
  • Interface well with customers and company personnel at all levels to develop innovative solutions to security requirements.
  • Make effective presentations.
  • Minimal travel.
  • Provide guidance/training to less experience employees.
  • Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific special projects.

 

What You'll Need

  • BS in a related field strongly preferred plus 2 or more years experience
  • Complete understanding of the technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field.
  • Demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
  • Understanding NISPOM, DCID/ICD and JAFAN policy direction are highly desired.
  • In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Master's degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
