What You'll Do

• Work as part of a blended team to develop architectures to support trusted networked communication.
• Develop models and simulations of networks and avionics systems to support analysis and testing of trusted network architectures.

What You'll Need 

• BS in Software Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred plus 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Java software development is required
• Good and current working knowledge of various networking protocols, including WiFi and Bluetooth technologies
• Strong background in modeling and simulation of complex systems is desirable, as is experience with network modeling tools (e.g. OpNet)
• Avionics integration experience is a plus, but not required
• Facility with development under both Windows and UNIX/LINUX environments required
• In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level will be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Master's degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
