What You'll Do
This position will focus on identifying new business opportunities, formulating the capture strategy and leading the proposal effort for major bid pursuits. It will provide leadership in all aspects of business development and capture management. Major responsibilities include:
* Identifying the opportunities
* Briefing management on these opportunities
* Develop and implement strategies to engage the customers
* Establish excellent customer relations
* Develop and implement capture plans and winning solutions
* Develop win themes
* Identify team members and establish NDAs and TAs
* Recommend pricing strategies
* Develop the bid and teaming strategies
* Lead the proposal team to develop winning proposals.
What You'll Need
Candidate must have:
- 10 or more years of proven and successful experience in business development, marketing and capture manager in the DoD and USAF markets.
- Proven experience in establishing strong relationships with potential teammates
- Experience in developing and managing B&P requirements
- Strong reputation in our business area
- Exceptional communications and organizational ability
- Bachelors degree is strongly preferred with 12 or more years of related experience.
- In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Master's degree or Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
