What You´ll Do
In this critical role, you will negotiate and manage a variety of cost plus and fixed price contracts involving development or production programs in the Antenna and Video Technologies contracts department. This includes:
- Working extensively with all functions and levels of program personnel and management to ensure compliance to all contractual requirements.
- Effectively contribute to the development of new business and change order proposals.
- Developing professional relationships with program team and customer personnel for the advancement of long-term business opportunities.
- Developing teaming agreements with large prime contractors, which utilize each organization’s core and distinctive competencies for the pursuit of complex multiyear new business opportunities.
- Negotiating and managing proprietary non-disclosure agreements for the protection of company proprietary information.
- Ensuring company empowered official is aware of any International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) issues.
- Negotiating favorable contract values, terms and conditions to limit liabilities and payment terms to affect shareholder value.
What You´ll Need
- A demonstrated background of legal, business, regulatory and programmatic aspects of federal government contract management commensurate with the job grade level.
- Experience with cost reimbursable, award fee and incentive fee contracts, and fixed price contracts.
- Experience with DOD and major Aerospace primes preferred. Strong oral and written communications skills, computer fluency, agile and effective negotiator with clear oral and written explanations. Be able to work a variety of complex issues at one time.
- Experience in developing and implementing negotiation strategies.
- Provide problem solving skills in a dynamic environment.
- A current security clearance is preferred.

Education:
- BS in a related field plus 8 or more years related experience. Doctor of Jurisprudence or business related Master’s preferred.
- Relevant certifications (ie..CPM, CPCM, CACM, etc.) preferred.
- In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Each higher level degree, i.e. Ph.D. may substitute for two years of experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
