Summer Intern Program:
The Ball Aerospace Internship Program is a ten week summer program that provides candidates with:

There are many recreational opportunities along the Colorado Front Range. Our state is famous for its biking, hiking, rafting, skiing, mountain climbing and beautiful scenery.
Over the course of a summer session, students are encouraged to participate in social and recreational activities, many of which are organized by the college relations department. Mentors and department co-workers enjoy spending time with students at many of the activities.
What You'll Do as an Intern:
- Work in a team environment assisting mechanical engineers in spacecraft and/or instrument component design, analysis, hardware testing, and/or laboratory research
- Build upon university acquired knowledge to solve mechanical problems
- Tasks may include CAD design of flight hardware or ground support equipment, mechanical developmental testing or mechanical data analysis.
Additional Requirements:
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated interest in design and analysis through school projects and hobbies
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency with MS Office tools
- Experience with Solidworks CAD desired
What You'll Need:
- Completion of your sophomore year towards a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Enrollment in a degree program for the fall 2010 semester
