Sales Manager/General Manager in Training Talent Pool - Central


We are currently seeking Sales Managers/General Managers in Training for our Central Market to join our ´World Class' Team of high-energy leaders to drive department teams toward individual and company success.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of success working in a high-volume discount, department or specialty retail store, and strong communication and leadership skills.

JOB SUMMARY

 

Key Functional Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyzes stores performance indicators against goals and develops action plans to improve results
  • Monitors at a high level several key business components: customer service, operations, sales, staffing levels, shrink, product flow/replenishment, merchandising and pricing accuracy
  • Provides direction to development of assistant managers to ensure execution of standards and achievement of store financials and development
  • Conducts regular store meetings and attends district/regional meetings
  • Works closely with district/regional staff on implementation of new programs/initiatives and ensuring standards and processes are executed  

Experience Requirements:

 

  • Post secondary education
  • Minimum 3- 5 years of Retail management experience
  • 2 years of Budget responsibility
  • Sales Management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
