The Drug and Alcohol Treatment Information System (DATIS) is currently seeking a full-time IT Specialist. DATIS is a program of CAMH, separately funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to collect and report descriptive and service utilization data from addiction treatment agencies across Ontario. DATIS is also the program tasked with hosting and maintaining the Toronto Central LHIN’s Community Business Intelligence Project. As an integral member DATIS Team, the IT Specialist is responsible for assisting in operations of the CBI Project team. The IT Specialist will aid in maintaining the CBI project\ database (Oracle 11g R2), data warehousing and reporting systems, (SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports) and maintaining the web services data upload system. You will support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. This position is located at 33 Russell Street Site.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a computer-related field and have at least three years of experience. In addition, the candidate must have significant experience with Data Warehousing design and maintenance using SAP Business Objects and Data Integrator, and would ideally have experience with Crystal Reports, Oracle SQL developer, Java programming, Web Services, and Microsoft Office Suite. The ideal candidate will have experience in health data management systems (preferably in the addictions and/or mental health sectors), and in developing and/or maintaining business intelligence solutions. Strong interpersonal skills as well as the effective organizational skills are a must, in order to work as part of this distributed team, which relies heavily on telephone, web conference and email communications to perform highly collaborative work. Additionally the successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to work with the staff of community-based agencies. Bilingualism (French/ English) is considered an asset.

Salary range: $33.84 to $45.62 per hour
