Position Description:
Reporting to the CAMH Privacy Officer, the Intake Analyst will play a key role in maintaining the front end administration of the IPO. The Analyst will be responsible for front line triage of casework, including opening and maintaining case files in our internal tracking system and communicating with stakeholders regarding initial questions and concerns. The Analyst may also provide assistance to the IPO in drafting letters to clients and patients and preparing written materials to support the department. In addition, the Analyst will provide assistance to the IPO in developing its ongoing education initiatives for the organization. You will support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable standards and requirements. This position is located at 1001 Queen Street West.

The successful candidate will possess a University undergraduate degree in a related field or a combination of education and related work experience. In addition, membership as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C) or certification with the Canadian Association of Professional Access and Privacy Administrators (CAPAPA) is an asset. Experience updating internal/external webpages, as well as developing and updating online learning modules is an asset. One (1) to three (3) years of related experience providing support to a management team or senior leaders within a hospital setting is required. You possess the ability to apply a thorough understanding of existing privacy legislation (e.g. FIPPA, MFIPPA, PHIPA). You have strong analytical and problem solving abilities, in addition to exceptional organizational and time management skills. You possess sound judgement in handling matters of a confidential and/or sensitive nature. Exceptional communication both verbal and written as well as strong interpersonal skills is essential. You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly spreadsheet, word processing, and database software. You possess demonstrated ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds. You are a team player with a professional and positive attitude, who is trustworthy and passionate. Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language is also considered an asset.
