We are seeking a full-time, contract Research Analyst who will provide support across the 2 donor funded centres: Slaight Family Centre for Youth in Transition and The Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth and Family Mental Health. Reporting to the center’s managers, you will assist the research teams on a number of research related duties including: scheduling human subjects’ interviews, screening eligible research subjects, administering brief clinical scales; functional scales, scoring and administering brief neurocognitive measures. Within these functions, you will also be required to assist in recruitment, preparing and maintaining subject records; data entry and database maintenance, and preparing data for presentations and peer-reviewed research papers. You will also assist with scheduling and preparing for subject’s laboratory/MRI visits as well as other procedural visits depending on the given study and will accompany subjects to these visits. Within these functions, you will also be required to assist with the following: Regulatory submissions, preparing budget and progress reports and power point presentations. Other administrative duties are also required. You will healthy support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable CAMH policies, as well as all regulatory and legislative requirements. This position is located at 250 College and 1001 Queen Street, with travel between sites.
The successful candidate must possess an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or neuroscience combined with at least one (1) year of relevant clinical or research experience with individuals and/or families with mental health and addiction issues. Previous experience in administration of neuropsychological assessments (e.g., MATRICS, RBANS, etc.), structured diagnostic interviewing (e.g., SCID) and clinical rating scales (e.g., C-SSRS, CIRSG, BPRS) are required.. Candidates will also have demonstrated ability to maintain and analyze large databases and will have literature review and synthesis skills. Proficiency with word processing, PowerPoint and database software packages is required. Familiarity with statistical analyses and data interpretation is an especially strong asset. The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and diverse stakeholders is essential. Demonstrated communications skills (both oral and written) are required as is the ability to explain complex issues in plain language. The candidate will be detail oriented, well organized, with the ability to meet deadlines and to work independently with minimal supervision. Candidates require the ability to work effectively in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.

Salary Range: $23.76 – $31.70 per hour
