Job Summary:

The successful Associate Scientist candidate will be an accomplished synthetic/medicinal chemist with state of the art knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and will be a motivated, creative, hands-on laboratory scientist with the ability to interact effectively with team members in all areas of drug discovery. Major responsibilities will involve the design, synthesis, purification and characterization of novel chemical entities and the maintenance of chemistry lab apparatus and instruments under the direction of senior scientific staff.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A B.S. with 4+ years industrial drug discovery experience or M.S. in synthetic or medicinal chemistry
  • Ability to maintain and use modern chemical instrumentation (MS, LCMS, NMR).
  • Motivated team player, able to work closely with other scientific disciplines involved in drug discovery to solve complex problems.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
