Duties and Responsibilities

  

This is a senior level position with responsibility for Purchase Contracts to meet company objectives and customer requirements. Responsible for writing and negotiations of purchasing contracts with suppliers for all requirements needed to support design, development and production of DRS-TEM products and services. Additional required knowledge of Mil Spec drawings, ERP System, DCAA and other government agencies and auditors. Will work directly with other Supply Chain team members, Engineering, Program Management, and other functional departments to insure all contract schedules and requirements are met while complying with established company procedures and Federal regulations such as ISO, SOX, ITAR, MMAS, and FAR. 

 

 

Basic Qualifications

   

Ten years experience in applicable fields. Must possess functional knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, functional knowledge and previous procurement experience in a contracting environment and strong personal leadership skills. Requires a B.S. in Engineering or Management. Experience desired in defense manufacturing, production of high mix/ low volume and active involvement in Contract Management Association.
