DRS C3 & Aviation is seeking a dynamic individual as a Painter.  This individual will work with the Air Force and required resources to achieve project objectives to include SOW requirements.

Position Summary

This individual will operate a paint booth that services maintenance personnel by preparing surfaces by sandblasting, sanding, and applying chemical degreasing and etching solutions, metal conditioners and wash primers. Must paint a variety of wood and metal items, primarily by spraying with lacquers and acrylics. Must independently plan details of work, selecting method, equipment and process best suited for a particular requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities

Painter: sandblasting, sanding, and applying chemical degreasing and etching solutions, metal conditioners, wash primers, paint a variety of wood and metal items, primarily by spraying with lacquers and acrylics     

Basic Qualifications

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Must have 2 years experience as a Journeyman Industrial Painter

·         Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and/or Excel computer software

·         Applicants selected will be subject to a successful background check

·         Successful drug screening required
