Our product and service areas include electronic control and monitoring systems, aerospace material handling systems, simulation and training systems, radar systems, aerospace support equipment, contract manufacturing, engineering, and product support.

Position Summary
This position supports engineering efforts associated with DRS-C3's Range Instrumentation Line of Business. Will act as lead engineer responsible for all engineering tasks including system requirements and architectures, HW/SW development, test, and life cycle support.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Project formulation, development, and execution of projects relevant to the integration of GPS equipment with military airborne and ground based test and training equipment.
Basic Qualifications
· BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering and 10 years of experience in the appropriate Engineering discipline
· Ability to demonstrate expertise with advanced GPS data processing techniques such as Kalman Filtering
· Experience in the development of Department of Defense and civil acquisition documentation such as proposals, statements of work, system specifications, hardware and software requirements and design specifications, interface control documents, and system test plans and test procedures
· Extensive knowledge and experience with Global Positioning System (GPS) hardware and software as applied to advanced military systems
· Ability to travel in support of site survey, system installation, and system test activities
· Ability to serve as a technical expert in GPS related technical areas to senior DoD and Civil customers
· Comfortable working on new business development/advance program/new concept pursuits
Additional Desirable Qualifications
· MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
· 15 or more years experience in relevant technical field
