Our product and service areas include electronic control and monitoring systems, aerospace material handling systems, simulation and training systems, radar systems, aerospace support equipment, contract manufacturing, engineering, and product support.

Position Summary
Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the financial unit and for developing financial procedures and directives to ensure acceptable and sound fiscal planning and control.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Plans and establishes policies, procedures and directives to support the daily operation of the financial unit. Develops and monitors the execution of the financial program. Maintains an operating procedures manual.
· Monitors, maintains and reviews financial records. Reviews and monitors contract program objectives and the effective utilization of contract funds. Recommends changes in financial resource allocations.
· Develops, maintains, and monitors a computerized financial reporting and accounting system. Directs the preparation of computer generated reports and other financial documentation.
· Assist in the preparation of departmental or contract budgets. Develops expense projections on the basis of prior budgets and expenditures.
· Keeps Directors and Managers informed about financial conditions within their areas.
· Responsible for meeting financial reporting requirements of all government contracts.
· Performs administrative supervisory tasks including evaluating employee performance, preparing formal salary reviews, hiring and terminating employees, approving leave requests and solving minor employee grievances.
Basic Qualifications
- BA Degree in Finance or Accounting; 7 plus years of experience
- Knowledge of accounting administration including in-depth understanding of all rules, regulations, processing procedures, recordkeeping methods and control systems
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Working knowledge of accounting applications in a computerized environment, including personal computer and/or mainframe spread-sheet applications
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization via written or verbal communication
- Ability to lead and supervise
