This opportunity is with DRS Technologies, located on the West Coast of Florida.  Our Largo location specializes in assembly, integration and test of radar and communication products and systems as well as ruggedized cable assembly and DoD contract manufacturing.

Position Summary/Relocation Benefits

DRS Integrated Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) has an immediate opening for a ColdFusion Developer.  Position is responsible for creating and maintaining a library of applications and reporting solutions in a web environment.  Applications will be developed for use across a multi-site organization to achieve a common goal and common standards.

Relocation will not be available with this position. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a library of applications and reporting solutions in a web environment.
• Develop applications for use across a multi-site organization.
• Design intuitive graphical user interfaces.

Basic Qualifications

• Four year degree with minimum of 4 years related experience in a fast paced environment.  A combination of technical training and related work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 4 years Cold Fusion experience - ColdFusion 8 preferred. 
• Minimum 4 years Microsoft SQL Server Experience (2000 and 2005).
• Minimum 1 year Oracle Database 10g (PL-SQL) experience
• Minimum 2 years JavaScript / XML / AJAX experience
• Ability to design intuitive graphical user interfaces - Experience in developing for touch-screen hardware a plus.
• Experience in developing web applications for cross-browser targets required.
• Working knowledge of developing high availability applications in a clustered environment required.
• Basic understanding of version control systems such as CVS and / or SVK required.

Additional Desirable Skills and Knowledge

• MySQL, PHP, ASP.NET, Flex experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
