Position Summary
The International Division of DRS TSI, headquartered in Stuttgart and with offices in Europe, Southwest Asia, and the U.S., engineers and delivers communications solutions in support of military operations and security cooperation activities across Europe and Africa. Our solutions span the C4I domain and include long-haul communications, commercial SATCOM, network managed services, KM, EoIP, NOC services, IT, IA, O&M, and other professional management services.
We seek a full time Administrative Specialist to add to our European management team in leading our satellite communications programs. The PA will coordinate with program management, associate project managers, logistics, project control, contractor staff and other personnel to support the program management team across a wide range of topics, tasks, and efforts here in Germany and located throughout the Middle East, US, and other regions.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Administrative Specialist supports the program by preparing project reports, tracking schedules of delivery orders, preparing briefing materials, and other support for assigned programs. Must be familiar with assigned programs and DRS backoffice systems (e.g., Deltek), personable, proficient at multi-tasking, and able to travel when required to support the program. This position requires regular coordination with our program and project management team, customer, technical staff, and other analysts/staff. Duties will also include:
· Provide administrative project support regarding the status of program activities and reporting resolution for all requests or actions
· Attend customer and DRS program meetings, recording action items and tasking, distributing minutes, and tracking action items to closure
· Perform configuration management of project documentation
· Provide daily office support and acquisition services, ordering supplies and services, ensuring receipt and authorizing payments, and maintaining personnel rosters
· Assist in the preparations of project documents to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance
· Compile, consolidate, and summarize project data
· Perform administrative work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and actual expenditure of funds across multiple delivery orders/projects
· Assist in slide preparation and update existing graphics, text presentations, and briefing materials as required
· Perform other general administrative project support duties as required
Basic Qualifications
· 2+ years of closely related experience
· Associate's degree in Business Administration (or related field) from an accredited University or college (An additional 2 years of directly applicable experience may be substituted for a degree)
· Strong organizational, verbal, and written communications skills as well as attention to detail
· Strong business acumen and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
· Working knowledge of Deltek applications is a plus
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· US Citizenship
· Candidates selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidates with an active DoD SECRET security clearance are preferred
Additional Desirable Skills and Knowledge
· Experience supporting projects involving engineering and installation of C4I solutions in Africa, Middle East, or Southwest Asia regions
· Training and knowledge of Technical Expert Status Accreditation processes within Germany, country clearance requirements, ITAR and related export compliance controls, personnel security clearance processing, familiarity with supporting projects and staff operating in high risk areas (e.g., Iraq, Afghanistan)
