Position Description (duties and responsibilities):
To provide an Iraq wide Remedy solution, support and implementation following the needs of the customer and the requirements by DISA/TCCC FWD.
• Schema Development/Design
• Architecture build and implementation of the Remedy Environment
• Migration of the TMS schema/ Help Desk Schema throughout Iraq
• Managing Remedy support staff/ Remedy Admins
• Weekly briefs to the CG
• Brief Iraq Signal command(72nd)
• Support to all WAN level entities( Firewall/NSC/ TCF's)
• Maintenance/backup and upgrades
• Remedy support to all levels of IA
• Performs IA related patches and upgrades at the direction of the C6 IA staff
• Help Desk schema support from COB'S to FOB's
• Budget and license management
• Development for new features
• Enterprise level support
Basic Qualifications
The applicant must be willing to travel extensively, sometimes to hazardous duty areas to be inclusive of South West Asia (SWA);
• Must, at a minimum, have a bachelor's degree or 5 years equivalent experience;
• Requires a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on latest Microsoft client, server, or messaging software and 4-6 years of experience as a system administrator
• Strongly recommend certifications from the following: CISSP, SANs, Cisco and Microsoft;
• Recommend experience with Oracle and /or SQL data base development or administration must have a US TOP SECRET security clearance;
• U.S. citizen
• Must have three years of management experience and show the ability to clearly communicate both written and verbally
• Will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
