Position Description (duties and responsibilities):
This candidate will be the Project Lead for PM DWTS Pacific Team projects. Individual will assist with the technical and administrative duties as the liaison between the DRS DWTS Pacific/Europe/CONUS Project Lead in Fort Monmouth, NJ, and the DWTS Pacific customer, reporting all activities directly to the DRS Project Lead, Fort Monmouth, NJ. Individual will provide technical expertise for performance and configuration validity of proposed communication and network efforts in support of the customer. Will assist in resolving equipment performance issues with the technical teams/subcontractors and government operational personnel. Individual will be required to manage, plan, schedule, communicate, facilitate, monitor, control and report on project-related tasks, and track the status of identified issues and risks. Will coordinate and prepare weekly and monthly task status reports for submission to corporate, customer and government personnel. Will monitor the allocation of DWTS employees, services and materials in the region. The selected candidate will need to be able to travel thoughout Okinawa as well as Korea. The candidate will be reporting to the New Jersey office and will need to travel back to New Jersey office around 4 times a year.
Required Qualifications:
· Project Experience: Functional and Technical design skills using object-oriented methodology
§ Three + years experience in Transmissions, Telecommunications Installation, and or Systems Engineering
§ Three+ years experience leading small group installation and or integration projects
· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills a must.
· Must have experience with interaction with customers to gather requirements and make presentations, briefings and proposals.
· Experience reading complex engineering drawings
· Applicant must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Project, Visio
· Applicant must be a US citizen.
· Applicant must be willing to travel to overseas duty locations for any given length of time.
· Applicant must be willing to travel to hazardous duty locations
· Must also possess at a minimum an active SECRET clearance or higher, meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and will be subject to a government security investigation.
· Employment will be contingent upon favorable results of a company background investigation and drug screening.

· Project Management Professional Certification
§ BA/BS or higher degree from an accredited college or university
