Duties and Responsibilities
The Joint NetOps Control Center (JNCC) is expanding its mission to include a formal change management function based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices. The scope of this function includes all Enterprise level operations and direct support to dispersed locations throughout Iraq.
· Activities include data collection and analysis, stakeholder analysis, organizational assessments.
· Identify and assess the potential impacts change may have on the organization
· Development of standard documentation and training materials.
· Develop, implement, and review critical measurements and trend analysis for the JNCC Director and other senior staff.
· Establish and maintain appropriate cross-functional governance structures to enable effective decision making.
· Provide recommendations concerning processes, procedures and guidelines.
· Maintain documentation concerning CSD configuration and permissions.
· Facilitate Change Control Board meetings and communications
Qualifications:
· ITIL Foundations Certification and ITIL Intermediate Release Control and Validate certifications.
· Individuals must have experience with Change Management automated tools. Familiarization with Remedy 7.0 Change Management is preferred
· Experience facilitating change management meetings and assisting organizations implement ITIL change management processes
· Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
· Excellent customer service skills and demeanor even in difficult situations
· Demonstrated Leadership and Management qualifications
· Demonstrated self-starter and ability to independently resolve problems
· Good understanding of U.S. Military organizations
· Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with short timelines
· Ability to maintain high quality work on multiple critical projects
· Ability to perform and participate in a team oriented environment
· Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of customers
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an information systems related discipline
· Documented work experience in the information management field at an Enterprise level, preferably within a military environment
· Applicant must be a US citizen
· Must also possess at a minimum an active SECRET clearance or higher, meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and will be subject to a government security investigation.
