Position Description:

The applicant will adhere to MMCS certification and accreditation procedures, processes, and regulatory requirements related to systems security on DoD networks.  Will ensure that network scans identify host vulnerability using QTIP STAT tools and document results in relation to residual risk identification.  The Manager ensure that Network Administrators follow DoD directives to complete incident handling and reporting.  They will have a demonstrated ability in development, implementation and support of security policies across the MMCS organization.  They will use their sound foundation in securing and Microsoft operating systems to minimize security vulnerabilities. The Manager will also ahere to the duties listed in Section 5.9, DoDI 8500.2.  Will lead a staff of 5 plus employees, providing shift staffing for round the clock coverage (24 x 7)

Required Qualifications:

• Must understand basic satellite and VLAN networking concepts
• Individual must understand signal flow, end to end configuration diagrams and operate specialized text equipment
• Experience in design, development, testing and evaluation of computer based systems
• Experience in the analysis and design of business applications on complex, large scale systems including experience in data base management concepts.
• Knowledge of state of the art of disk storage, Call Managers, Exchange Servers, and retrieval methods is required, as well as the ability to formulate specifications for site operators to use in testing, debugging of system failures.
• Extensive travel inclusive of hazardous duty areas including South West Asia
• Bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• US citizen
• Must possess at minimum an active SECRET clearance or higher, meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and will be subject to a government security investigation
• Employment contingent upon favorable results of a company background investigation and drug screening
