Position: Registered Nurse x 2 positions

Department:  Medical Inpatient Unit - 4 East

Status:  Part-Time (must provide availability up to 0.5FTE)

Hours:  Monday to Sunday - All Shifts (8 hour, 12 hour, weekends included)

Site: Oakville

Responsibilities:

To provide care to patients with conditions involving the respiratory system as well as other acute medical diagnosis.  Cross trained to provide care to acute medical patients with GI and palliative needs.

Qualifications:

Halton Healthcare Services is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; team players; effective communicators; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible.

• Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS Certification required
• Current medical experience expected
• Demonstrates commitment to continuing education
• Preference will be given to those skilled in Central Lines, TPN, Chronic Ventilation and Phlebotomy
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with strong public relations and organizational skills
• Caring attitude with patients, families and co-workers

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position

• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

Salary: $29.36 to $41.70 per hour
