Building a Culture of Safety:

Halton Healthcare Services, is committed to taking every reasonable precaution for the prevention of injuries and protection of employees. Recognizing that our employees are our most valuable resource, we will meet all legislative requirements as set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act as a minimum standard.

To that end, all management, supervisors and employees must be dedicated to the continuing objective of reducing the risk of injury. All management functions will comply with Halton Healthcare Services injury prevention requirements and will be held accountable for the health and safety of employees under their supervision. Supervisors/Managers are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that employees work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. All employees must protect his/her own health and safety by working in compliance with the legislation and will perform their jobs properly in accordance with safe practices and procedures.
