At this time we are currently looking for a Senior level Oracle DBA with recent Oracle Applications experience. This versatile DBA will work as part of a team responsible for providing Oracle ERP package implementation and on going support, as well as other activities for a very capable Database Administration department.

This exceptional candidate must have solid full cycle work experience to include installation, maintenance, configuration, and support of production and non-production Oracle Application systems (other systems are a plus) in a Sun Solaris environment. You will also have Financials and HRMS experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Oracle Applications administration and problem resolution with R11i multiple node technology stack: forms/web, load balancing, concurrent manager configuration, Discoverer, notification mailer, workflow highly regarded
• Substantial Oracle Database Administration technical expertise with solid background in Oracle as well as Oracle/3rd party tools. administration, monitoring, development, and backup/recovery

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Real Application Cluster environment (RAC)
• 7x24 production support experience
• Significant expertise in applying patches as well Oracle Application and  database cloning procedure
• Solid in Unix and scripting, preferably Solaris
• Effective communication skills are critical, both written and oral
• Ability to categorize problems and relate to architectural components
• Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, code and instance tuning and debugging
• Experience with RMAN backup/recovery support and administrative practices
• Working knowledge of Veritas suite of storage and tape management products a plus
• Energetic, self motivated, open-minded and flexible team player who can work effectively and cooperatively with project and infrastructure teams
