The Office of the Auditor General of Canada is seeking auditors to work on audits and examinations that provide objective information, advice and assurance to Parliament.
The Office of the Auditor General of Canada conducts audits of most federal government operations. These audits provide members of Parliament with objective information to help them examine the government's activities and hold it to account.
Audit professionals carry out a variety of interesting tasks. As a member of an audit team, you will carry out examinations using audit programs and proven methodology. You will work in an interesting environment filled with challenges and have many opportunities for different assignments and advancement.
We are looking for individuals with knowledge of management principles, standards and contemporary audit practices and management. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams are assets in dealing with peers, senior management and client organizations. You need to be able to write clearly, succinctly and persuasively and be able to easily adapt to changes.
