Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Quality Control / R & D Manager, the Technical Services Representative will accommodate the customer needs by maintaining a high level of product quality through the testing of concrete and its raw materials.

·         Testing of concrete and raw materials.

·         Deliver and administration of value-added products.

·         Maintaining daily records of all test data.

·         Developing technical reports and analysis of concrete quality

·         General concrete laboratory duties.

·         Assist Technical Services Manager and Plant Manager/Supervisor as required.

Educational Criteria:

·         Candidate must be enrolled in University Civil, Chemical, Geological or Mechanical Engineering program.

Working Conditions:

·         Field and Plant environment.

Experience:

·         Good analytical skills.

·         Knowledge of the GTA and surrounding areas.

·         Basic Knowledge of concrete and construction beneficial but not required.

Competencies:

·         Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.

·         Computer knowledge.

·         Team player who is wiling help out in all areas of the department.

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Must have valid G driver´s license.
