The Vice President, Marketing is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets. Specific responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for promotion and advertising; publicity and press; coordination with client service; and, hiring and directing the day-to-day activities of marketing staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve system and goals.
• Develop and implement an integrated strategic internal and external communications plan to advance the business' brand identity; broaden internal awareness of its capabilities; and increase the visibility of its offerings across key stakeholder audiences.
• Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
• Effectively manage press and publicity for the business.
• Direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of marketing staff and oversee their daily activities.
• Compile lists describing product or service offerings.
• Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
• Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited University.
• Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning and promotions/advertising.
• Demonstrated expertise with marketing concepts, creative development processes (working in digital, TV, social, collateral, and more) and project management are absolutely essential.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are essential for this highly collaborative position.
• Experience and ability to write, conceptualize, and design internal and external marketing collateral.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement marketing strategies.
• Strong social media acumen.
• Ideal candidate will possess knowledge and passion of the Entertainment industry.
