The position is Senior Vice President reporting to the President.

Must have five years of experience in similar capacities successfully doing business development at senior level. 

 

I have vast senior level experience, over 5.

 
Should have a Business or Marketing degree and mid to senior level Account Executive, AVP, VP experience.

No degree, some college and industry related courses,

No AVP, nor VP title experience, however done more than that.

 

Should have good knowledge of the Engineering, Construction and Transportation Industries and know key decision makers locally and nationally.

 

Very knowledgeable of the industry and key stakeholders (government relations primary funding source) primarily in the New York area with relationships in Philadelphia, Miami, Maryland and Washington DC.

 

The Requirements for this position would be as follows:

1. Knowledge and/or ability to establish marketing and sales business relationships of our Clients’ clients,  e.g. The Port Authority, MTA, NYSDOT, NYSOGS, NYCDOT, NYCDDC, NYCEDC, NYCEDC, NYCDEP, CONNDOT, NJDOT, NJTA, PENNDOT, PTC, SEPTA, MDSHA, MDMTA, DC Water, FDOT, City of Philadelphia, Miami-Dade County, etc. 

With true and tested decades of relationships with folks directing these agencies, I have the ability to immediately develop marketing/sales relationships with their clients/prospects as stated above. 

2. Must have a working relationships with Large Firms that utilize engineering, construction, transportation architecture and project management services e.g. AECOM, Jacobs, CH2M Hill, CDM Smith, HNTB, HDR, Skanska, Tutor Perini, Kiewit, Flour, Bechtel, etc.

Possess true and tested relationships with officers at Parsons, Jacobs, CH2M Hill, HNTB, Skanska and Bechtel, should not have a problem finding all others once on target. 

3. Good knowledge of Transportation, Water and Wastewater, Energy, Health and Sanitation Industries a plus. 

I have previously worked with and have overall knowledge of the Transportation,Water, Wastewater, Energy, Health and Sanitation Industries and key stakeholders.

 

The Duties for this position will include:

1. Identify perspective and new clients, while maintaining and developing upcoming projects with existing Clients. Establish Business Plan and set priorities for firm’s business development and maintenance.

Have previously identified new prospects/clients while on the lookout for upcoming projects with existing clients. 

Have developed a business plan setting priorities for firms' development and maintenance.

2. Visit with respective Clients and engage industry owners and leaders to gather information about upcoming projects, contracts, RFP’s and industry growth issues.

Experienced setting up visits and meeting folks via network and affinity organization conferences, events and the like.

3. Develop Strategies to win substantial existing and potential client’s Priority Project Business. 

Not knowing your client, I am unable to provide a response for this, however have assisted prior clients/employers in developing successful strategies to win projects.

4. Assemble and follow up with the Clients, Partners and Client’s own Field Practice Leaders to solidify business closer and win.

5. Inform the President / Owner if any help is needed from them in a timely manner to close business.

6. The Hit Ratio of all wins for the Priority Projects must be 25% or greater.

Again, unable to respond, for lack of knowledge of client's name/business and priority projects target

Basic Salary:$ 150K + Bonus up to $150,000 based on Sales. 

 

Interested in salary with bonus package, however would like to know the component of their benefit package.
