The Connection’s statewide programs reunite families; break the generational cycles of abuse and neglect; create stronger, safer communities; assist people with mental health and addiction issues; provide long term supportive housing to individuals and families including those with diagnosed behavioral health disorders; provide residential treatment for women and/or men in recovery, and offer less costly service alternatives, saving taxpayer dollars.

Knowledge, Skills, and Position Summary: The Program Manager II will oversee the Park Street Inn program, an innovative transitional 15 bed Residential Living Center that is designed to meet the needs of adult individuals who have histories of multiple or prolonged hospitalizations and who face complex challenges that complicate their recovery.  This position is responsible for staffing, quality assurance, clinical supervision, training and direct supervision of case managers in assigned areas, is exempt, and works under the supervision of the Program Director. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults who have chronic mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders and leadership/management experience. The eligible candidate for the Program Manager II position will work full time, 40 hours, 1st shift Monday-Friday with flexibility to work evening, weekend and holiday hours as needed to fit program need and participates in the on call responsibilities. Regular and predictable attendance is required for this position.

Education:The minimum qualifications to be an eligible candidate for the Program Manager 2 position is a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field with 2 years of related experience. Valid Connecticut driver's license and proof of insurance is required for all open positions at The Connection.
