Description:

Ensures that the quality, service and cleanliness standards are met and maintained through staff training, daily inspections of location and equipment as well through staff supervision. Provides continuous support and assistance to the Manager in order to ensure strong store operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thorough knowledge of Tim Hortons policies and products
  • Management experience in food services, quick service an asset
  •  Ability to quickly resolve problems 
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English
  • Availability to work weekends as well as day/evening/night shifts
  • Availability to travel throughout the province of Québec

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and manage staff and supervisors, including performance management, establishing daily priorities, training, participating in yearly evaluations, and as needed, recommending an action plan to improve weaknesses.
  • Supervise customer service and production staff in collaboration with Supervisors/Trainers/Managers. 
  •  Work in the restaurant during rush periods and as needed. 
  •  Interview potential candidates and make recommendations. 
  •  Establish employee work schedules.
  • Direct the training of staff in regards to hospitality.
  • Observe and analyze service times in order to determine the functioning of store operations and to improve customer service.
  • Ensures that employees are working in a safe and secure environment by locating and evaluating safety risks and communicating this information to the staff.
  • Investigate store accidents and ensures that all the proper documentation has been completed.
  • Applies and manages new policies and procedures in store.
  • Other tasks as required.
