Canada's largest coffee and fresh baked goods chains, Tim Hortons has more than 2,500 stores across Canada and a steadily growing base of 228 locations within the United States.  The TDL Group Corp. is currently looking to build a talent pool of District Managers to be a part of this Canadian success story.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the District Manager provides ongoing high level management expertise and operations support to Tim Hortons store owners. The District Manager acts as an operations consultant and a liaison between TDL and the Store Owners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Managing a territory of stores with single and multiple Store Owners which includes evaluating and monitoring individual store performance and recommending direction for the company to proceed in regards to new and existing stores.
  • Managing store openings, developing short and long term goals and implementing strategies to meet them.
  • Implementing, monitoring and evaluating a variety of programs designed and developed for Store Owners.
  • Preparing, recommending and monitoring district sales budgets for existing and projected stores. Conducting store visits to determine the level of quality, quantity, service and cleanliness provided by the Store Owners, verifying store revenues as well as preparing and monitoring district sales budgets.
  • Responding to and investigating verbal and written enquiries and complaints and liaising with other departments to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Conducting and co-ordinates store take-overs.
  • Coaching Store Owners on topics such as staff training, improving product, implementing new product rollouts and administering the financial and inventory aspects of the business as well as Head Office direction.

Must Have Skills
  • Multi-Unit territory management.
  • Experience within the Quick Service Restaurant or Retail industries.
