A position has arisen for a Permanent Charge Technologist - MRI at The Toronto General Hospital. As part of our Charge Technologist team you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, staff development, improving processes, procedures and quality standards in the MRI area, to include booking and clerical responsibilities. You will be required to assume responsibility for other imaging areas on an as needed basis. This is a corporate position and may involve work at all sites
REQUIREMENTS
· A minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience.
· Excellent multi-tasking with an ability to supervise a complex MRI department while maintaining clinical hours.
· Previous project management experience
· As a team builder, mentor and organizer you have a demonstrated track record in supervising, assigning and coaching staff
· A demonstrated commitment to continuing education
· Thorough knowledge of equipment, its operation, technical procedures and applications
· Working knowledge of financial systems and processes within Medical Imaging Department
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Knowledge of adult learning principles and their applications with information on a full range of available technical training and educational upgrading options both internal and external
