Job Posting: Case Costing Manager
Reporting to: Director of Financial Planning and Reporting

As an integral member of Finance, the Case Costing Manager is responsible for the oversight of case costing system processing, data quality, utilization and Ministry submissions. The position is accountable for:
· Ensuring timely data processing
· Driving continual improvement and monitoring of data quality with the coordination of clinical and financial feeder systems, and the optimization of UHN's cost per weighted case distribution methodology
· Providing leadership and advice to the organization in the use of case cost data for operational and strategic decision making
· Coordinating submissions and the benchmarking exchange with external stakeholders
· Providing leadership to the Case Costing Department to enhance learning and growth
· Enabling educational opportunities in case costing methodology
Qualifications:
· Completion of recognized degree in business, computer science or health administration – masters degree preferred
· 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare setting
· Extensive experience in working with case costing methodology, MIS guidelines, clinical reporting and benchmarking standards
· Excellent strategic and analytical thinking, technical skills in statistical analysis, and problem solving capacity
· Dedicated team player with excellent interpersonal, interdisciplinary communication, and staff development skills
