Primary responsibility will be to support the sales team in reporting and analyzing sales results and maintaining the reporting tools for the team. Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical skills are required for this position. Additional reporting and analysis experience is also an asset.
The Important Stuff
Maintain forecasting and variance database, review inventory constraints with on a weekly basis
Handset Demand Planning & Pricing analysis
Conduct detailed analysis around account performance
Directly manage handset inventory for national retailers, setup new stores openings. Manage and approve all pricing and promotion activity for national retailers
Approve all retail shipments based on defined channel strategy and delivery timeframes. Work with account team and supply chain to Manage allocation of handset inventory for product launches and end-of-lines.
Prepare and validate plan vs. actual performance reporting and develop insight into trends
Prepare commentary of sales and competitive performance.
Participate in the monthly inventory ordering process by providing analysis of trends and channel specific strategies
Coordinate with account managers and finance to report consumer offers and retailer compensation
Report monthly OPEX weekly SBNA results
Report handset mix by channel
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Undergraduate Degree required. Business degree preferred
5 years experience in a Demand Planning/Sales Planning environment
Advanced Excel Skills a must.
Strong verbal and written skills a must.
Knowledge of databases / reporting systems (Cognos, Peoplesoft)
Reporting and analysis in a sales environment or similar a plus
