MARKETING MANAGER - PRODUCT MARKETING: CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT

The Virgin Mobile Product Marketing team is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to drive sales & revenue targets in a fast paced, highly competitive marketplace. This position provides an experienced leader with an excellent opportunity to work in a high profile and challenging environment where roadmaps don't exist. The role focuses on the development & execution of quarterly programs, strategic offers & competitive responses designed to achieve Virgin's sales & revenue targets.

The really important stuff?

Responsible for:

  • The ongoing development & execution of key Value prop pillars
  • Development & implementation of initiatives to drive acquisition strategy & revenue results
  • Presenting program initiatives to cross functional teams, channels & senior executives for approvals & feedback
  • Ensuring cross-functional inputs coalesce into a coordinated marketing strategy balancing financial and sales targets
  • Manage complete "take to market" process for Virgin Mobility campaigns. This includes marketing strategy, identification of target markets, creative briefs, cross functional team coordination, tactical execution & approvals, results tracking & analysis
  • Market analysis and gap closure initiatives
  • Post mortem development and analysis
  • Meeting aggressive due dates on project implementation

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University degree with a Business, Marketing and/or related discipline
  • 5 years of leadership experience in Marketing
  • Ability to provide insightful observations & judgements in both strategic & executional situations
  • Proven ability in project management and leading large cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal (ability to effectively communicate in front of large groups of people)
  • Solid partnering and creative problem solving skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to comfortably operate in an ever-evolving environment
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge of the evolving competitive telecom environment
