MARKETING MANAGER: POSTPAID MARKETING 

The Virgin Mobile Product Marketing team is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to drive Postpaid sales & revenue targets in a fast paced, highly competitive marketplace. This position provides an experienced leader with an excellent opportunity to work in a high profile and challenging environment where roadmaps don't exist. The role focuses on leading & developing short & long-term business strategies to ensure the success of Virgin's Postpaid business portfolio.

The really important stuff?

Responsible for:

  • Identifying, developing, refining & managing a compelling, competitive & profitable Postpaid Product portfolio
  • The ongoing development & execution of the Postpaid Value Proposition, ensuring alignment with overall Virgin Brand attributes
  • Development & implementation of initiatives to drive Postpaid acquisition strategy & revenue results
  • Development & ongoing modification of Virgin's Postpaid rate plans & pricing
  • Presenting program initiatives to cross functional teams, channels & senior executives for approvals & feedback
  • Analyzing revenue & profitability results & formulating actionable recommendations to improve performance
  • Market analysis and gap closure initiatives
  • Post mortem development and analysis
  • Meeting aggressive due dates on project implementation

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University degree with a Business, Marketing and/or related discipline
  • 5 years of leadership experience in Marketing
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to interpret data & transform analysis into impactful recommendations
  • Ability to provide insightful observations & judgements in both strategic & executional situations
  • Expert knowledge in financial business case development & economic analysis
  • Demonstrated skill in coaching & team building
  • Proven ability in project management and leading large cross functional teams
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal (ability to effectively communicate in front of large groups of people)
  • Solid partnering and creative problem solving skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to comfortably operate in an ever-evolving environment
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge of the evolving competitive telecom environment
