 POSITION SUMMARY

As the Digital Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in the execution of HealthStream’s 2019 digital strategy as it pertains to social media and website management. The key focus areas include regular maintenance of all corporate social media accounts, weekly social content curation, and routine edits and updates to the various HealthStream websites.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES –

  • Daily monitoring of social media accounts to provide timely and appropriate responses to audience interactions
  • Creation of comprehensive weekly social media content calendar (requires collaboration with Marketing Campaigns Team, Healthcare Resources Group and Graphic Design Teams)
  • Scheduling of weekly social media content
  • Managing the posting and editing of HealthStream blog articles
  • Pulling reports from Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Building new website pages, assisting in web content and copy edits, and managing digital resources within the CMS platform
  • Updating the corporate websites with current HealthStream events and initiatives on the homepage and News Ticker

 JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

A. KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and content management systems preferred

B. SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Data-driven mentality to assess whether efforts are producing measurable results

C. ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Skilled written communicator
  • Ability to participate as an active team member in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for at least 52 weeks
