Location:Nashville, TN



The Assistant Billing Coordinator is responsible for processing all contract and billing requirements for assigned customers. This includes setting up billing, forecasting, and revenue dates on each contract, as well as collecting on invoices after bills are sent. The Assistant Billing Coordinator is also responsible for responding to questions sent into the company-wide Accounts Receivable email inbox on a rotational basis. Additionally, the Assistant Billing Coordinator will update and maintain customer file maintenance within our billing system.




For assigned contracts, the Assistant Billing Coordinator is responsible for:


  • Setting up billing schedule based on contract terms
  • Setting up revenue recognition schedule, including actual and forecast, based on product activation date
  • Collecting on invoices sent if payment is not received by due date, which may also include communicating with Sales representative to find alternative customer contact
  • Answering customer calls and responding to emails sent to combined Accounts Receivable inbox on assigned day
  • Customer file maintenance in billing system: obtaining tax exempt forms from customers, sending Form W-9 when requested, entering new customer data in billing system, updating billing contacts and addresses when necessary





  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience with above job functions



  • General knowledge of invoicing systems preferred, not required
  • Contract review experience preferred, not required
  • 10-key calculator skills preferred, not required
  • Microsoft Excel and Word experience required



  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, strong attention to detail, and analytical skills


Time management and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
