POSITION SUMMARY:

The front desk receptionist performs routine clerical and administrative support in answering telephones, receiving the public, and providing customer assistance.

  • Greet customers in person, over the phone and/or through email
  • Answers questions, respond to inquiries or refer to the appropriate person
  • Prepare outgoing mail; sort and distribute incoming mail. Maintain postage meter
  • Process outgoing FedEx shipments
  • Update Company and employee phone list
  • Maintains security and issue visitor badges
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area
  • Maintain, manage, and audit employee & visitors parking validations
  • Maintain, manage, and audit records for employee parking at Cummins Station
  • Maintain and manage office supplies for Corporate and satellite offices
  • Manage Cummins Station building maintenance request from employees
  • Any other duties as assigned

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

A. KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures

 

B. SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Organizational Skills
  • Strong keyboard skills
  • Ability to manage information of employees
  • Organizing, planning, and customer service orientation
  • Should be flexible and possess cultural awareness

 

C. ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills; organized with attention to detail; proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Initiative and Willingness to Learn
  • Good communication skills and professional personal presentation
  • Great attention to detail and stress tolerance
  • Should be honest, respectful, and trustworthy
