At Halton Healthcare you will thrive in a health care culture and environment that embraces inclusion, high performance, and flexibility with ‘exemplary patient experiences, always’ at the heart of everything we do.
We empower our people to be the very best they can be so they can make a difference for our patients and the communities we serve. It is an exciting time to join Halton Healthcare with the completion of our major redevelopment projects. Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital opened its doors in December 2015 and Milton District Hospital completed a significant addition to its clinical space in October 2017.
Halton Healthcare is re-imagining the delivery of safe, effective, and exemplary patient care, enhancing the staff and physician experience across our hospitals. We aim to enhance high-quality safe patient care, empower interprofessional collaboration, and transform the staff and physician experience via Interchange, an exciting initiative that achieves clinical transformation supported by technology.
Halton Healthcare takes great pride in providing quality, compassionate healthcare services to our rapidly growing communities. As a progressive and vibrant healthcare organization, we are committed to being an innovative center of excellence in community hospital care in the Halton and Peel Regions.
The Interchange Go-Live Support Champion is a personable, energetic, and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others. As part of a coordinated support strategy, they may serve a variety of roles as part of a coordinated support structure (which includes visiting our clinical & non-clinical areas to answer questions or provide support or answers phones in our go-live call center).
The ideal candidate thrives on their desire to help others, and to work as part of a large team to find answers and solutions. They maintain a positive attitude, engage their colleagues and those they are supporting with a positive and friendly attitude, and when they do not know the answer, are not afraid to ask for support or help.
The Interchange Go-Live Support Champion is an excellent communicator, capable of engaging all levels of the organization, from the front-line to the senior team. They are skilled in explaining complex topics and providing step-by-step instructions and are not afraid to bring forward suggestions or ideas to help their colleagues and teammates.
Starting November 1, 2021, the Interchange Go-Live Support Champion will receive three-weeks of training to prepare them for go-live on November 13, 2021. Once we have flipped the switch, we expect go-live support to run 24x7 for a period of three weeks, ultimately wrapping up support on or around December 3, 2021.
Together, transforming through connected experiences.
