Reporting to the Program Director, the Clinical Operations Manager (COM) is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations after normal business hours. The COM creates an environment on the units that promotes collaborative teamwork, patient satisfaction, professional and skill development of staff, innovative thinking, constructive debate and greater autonomy in decision making. The COM embodies the mission, vision, values and supports achieving the strategic directions of Halton Healthcare.
The COM is responsible for the implementation of the clinical program priorities identified by the Program Planning Group and the Board, as they affect these units. The COM is responsible for the quality of care provided on the units and continuously seeks to improve that care.
