All information required to determine suitability for employment with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service is collected under the authority of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service Act and is contained in the CSIS Candidates Bank, SIS PPU 025.
Personal Information is protected under the provisions of the Privacy Act. This Act provides that candidates may request to see information collected about them during the application process. This provision allows candidates to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information, as well as to request that any incorrect data be amended.
