TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES - TRAUMA/NEUROSURGERY/ICU
In recognition of the shortage of qualified Trauma/Neurosurgery ICU nurses, St. Michael’s Hospital is offering to sponsor nurses registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario who are interested in working in the Trauma/Neurosurgery ICU. Candidates selected to participate in this 13 week program will be provided with a conditional offer of full-time employment. Please note the academic portion of the course is currently completed virtually and will start in January 2022. To successfully complete this course, candidates must meet both academic and clinical evaluation standards. For internal candidates, successful completion of the 60 tour (450 hour) trial period is required prior to final confirmation in this role. External candidates' confirmation will be in accordance with the probation period under terms of the ONA collective agreement.
